AI-verified deals. No fake discounts.
Most deal sites repeat whatever discount a retailer claims. If a product has a made-up “list price”, a 60%-off badge is easy to print and means nothing. StarBuy exists because that is annoying and fixable.
What we actually check
Before a deal appears here, we load the merchant's own product page and confirm the item exists, is in stock, and costs what the listing says. Then we look for the same product at other retailers and compare real, current listings. We also keep our own price history, so over time we know what a product normally costs regardless of what anyone claims.
A deal is published when the price checks out and we are at or below every competitor price we could confirm. If a competitor is cheaper, we reject it — it is not a deal. If the evidence is thin, a human reviews it before it goes live.
The discount we show
The percentage on the badge is measured against real competitor prices, or against our own tracked history — never against a marketing “was” price. When a claimed discount is inflated, we say what the real saving is instead. Tap the verification badge on any card and you can see the retailers we checked, their prices, and the date.
How we make money
Affiliate commissions, disclosed on every outbound link. Commission rates play no part in whether a deal is published or how it ranks. See the affiliate disclosure.
